Marquise Davon Richards (@MarquiseDavon) is an educator, activist, and content creator dedicated to amplifying Black voices and fostering meaningful change. Marquise is the recipient of Color of Change's Chinua Achebe Storytelling Award for his work in education and podcasting and has been cited in an academic journal.
As the host of the Keepin' It a Bean podcast, he creates space for honest conversations around Black culture, identity, and social issues, blending humor, insight, and advocacy. Marquise is also the founder of Leroy's Blend, a coffee brand that highlights legacy, community, and promotes cultural awareness with care.
His work aims to bridge the gap between academia and everyday life, making education accessible and relevant to communities often overlooked by traditional institutions.
